Two people have died and a child has been injured in a head-on crash in Western Australia’s Peel region.
Emergency services were called to a crash between a Toyota Hilux and a Mazda CX5 on Pinjarra Rd near Nancarrow Wy, Ravenswood about 11.55am Sunday.
Police were told the vehicles crashed head-on and at least one person was trapped in the wreckage.

The driver of the Toyota, a 73-year-old man, was taken to Peel Health Campus but was unable to be revived.
The 66-year-old female driver of the Mazda died at the scene.
A nine-year-old girl, who was a passenger in the Mazda, was flown via RAC Rescue Helicopter to Perth Children’s Hospital for treatment of injuries. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
