A woman has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition after being struck by a car in Perth’s western suburbs.
The 69-year-old was hit as she tried to cross Stirling Hwy near Jarrad St in Peppermint Grove just before 8pm, Thursday.

The woman sustained head and leg injuries in the incident involving a Subaru Outback wagon.
She remains in Royal Perth Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
It is understood the Subaru driver did not require medical attention.
Anyone with information or vision should contact police.

The emergency unfolded at the same spot where a motorbike rider was killed in a collision with a car in December.
Tribute flowers remain at the site and were pictured next to police cars responding to Thursday’s incident.
Last Saturday a man was taken to hospital with a broken leg after he was trapped between two cars on Stirling Hwy in nearby Nedlands.
